British Rhythm and Blues artist Amy Winehouse found dead July 23rd 2011 at her Camden square home. an article from the Huffpost Celebrity reads( Winehouse's friend and rep, said in a statement that the late singer was found in bed by her bodyguard. I chose Amy for a few reasons,For one she lived a very troubled life that many do not understand. it seems very easy to place judgment on those we don not know. anyone who has a family member or has a friend who struggles with drug addiction knows the shock-wave that comes with that relationship. some chose to turn and walk away from the beginning and wash their hands of the situation, some stand by and try to give support. if your friend falls off the boat, do you toss them a life preserver and hope they pull themselves back in? or do you toss them a lifer preserver and help pull them in? the world is full of those who would just toss them a life preserver and wish the best, and than the one's who turn a head with thoughts of,(idiot! should have had a life jacket,) if your a better swimmer and know it, jump in and save a life.
